Allure Magazine Kicks the Term 'Anti-aging' to the Curb

Allure magazine wants to change the way its readers think about aging and it's starting by omitting the popular industry term "anti-aging." 

According to a recent Allure magazine article, the publication will no longer use the term as it feels it is "subtly reinforcing the message that aging is a condition we need to battle—think antianxiety meds, antivirus software or antifungal spray." 

Allure made the announcement of giving "anti-aging" the ax on the cover of its September issue which features actress Helen Mirren.
