Lounging on huge, comfy beds strewn with hairstyling products may not be everyone’s idea of heaven, but for hair product junkies, New York’s Bed Club, in the nightclub-saturated center of Chelsea, was a perfect venue to launch Got 2B’s new Magnetik and Styl-Tini hair collection lines. Touted as an “all-nighter that you won’t regret in the morning,” the Styl-tini collection features aromatic scents that will remind you of your favorite martini, with technology provided by Schwarzkopf retail labs.
The star of the show was the Got 2B Magnetik for Men, which, says the company, is the only hairstyling collection for men that includes pheromones. Because pheromones have been shown to be odorless hormones that influence the psychology of attraction, Schwarzkopf incorporated a synthesis of the male human pheromone androstadienone with an alluring fragrance combined in Magnetik Styling gel and Magnetik Texturing Pomade. The tiny bead-filled pheromones burst upon application, which says the company, results in “sexual chemistry plus great hair.”
