Submissions are currently open for ICMAD's Indie Beauty Innovator (IBI) Awards to recognize the most cutting-edge, game-changing product launches and brands in the independent beauty industry.

Earning an IBI Award represents one of the highest honors of the profession, a gold-standard award for breakthrough beauty products and companies.
Submissions are reviewed by a panel of industry judges that include product development, branding, package design, marketing specialist, leading media and social influencer experts.
Entries will be judged in several criteria, such as originality, design concept, and innovation within the category. The submission deadline is May 8, 2020.

- Bath and body
- Fragrance
- Hair care
- Makeup
- Men’s
- Nails
- Skin care
Stewardship categories:
- Innovation Brand of the Year
- Green Innovator Brand of the Year
- Best Financial Partner
- Charitable Company
- Inclusive Innovator
- Supplier of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
Eligible products must have been released for retail between February 28, 2019 and April 1, 2020. ICMAD Membership is not required to submit, but the company must be in the beauty industry. More eligibility requirements are available online.
Winners will be announced and honored at an evening reception June 28, 2020, in Las Vegas.
