Constellium N. V. (Amsterdam) is applying drawn and ironed beverage can technology to the cosmetics sector with its new Aeral aluminum solution for aerosol containers.

Aeral, developed from an alloy, allows at least a 30% weight savings compared to traditional impact extruded containers without sacrificing pressure resistance or ductility, thus offering an improved environmental footprint.
