Albéa has been recognized for the third year in a row by EcoVadis with the gold status for the supplier's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

In 2021, Albéa started a program to intensify the deployment of CSR at each of the group’s industrial sites. The effective implementation of this program in the 35 facilities is evaluated by the EcoVadis performance assessment.

Albéa’s center of expertise for plastic tubes in Tortona, Italy, received the platinum grade, the highest distinction and a first for the group.

Gilles Swyngedauw, vice-president sustainability and innovation, said, "Our aim is to have 100% of our sites assessed by 2025. Our teams around the world have embraced the EcoVadis program with great dedication and are implementing many efficient local CSR initiatives. This year, our plant in Tortona has put the bar very high which is a great incentive for the future.”
