
Trendalytics has shared the top trends in men's grooming, skin care and cosmetics for 2020.

Men's skin care
According to Medium, men are favoring moisturizers with searches increasing by 324% compared to last year. Skin care overall increased by 34%.
While not as big of an interest compared to moisturizers, the anti-aging category is seeing an increase of 42% in searches.
Face wash on the other hand has decreased by 34% in searches.
Men's Grooming
The men's grooming category is seeing growth in numerous sectors.
Hair trimmers (+129%) and hair clippers (+238%) have both increased in searches as a result of barbershops being closed due to the pandemic. Hair clippers in turn are seeing an average 544,000 searches a week as opposed to hair clippers being searched 122,000 times.
Body groomers, while on the rise, have only seen a 12% increase in searches. However, beard growth kit has grown exponentially at 233% with an average 11,000 weekly searches.
Men's Cosmetics
Compared to the previous categories, men's makeup decreased in searches by 4%, men's concealer has decreased 24% and men's nail polish decreased 16%.
