Marc Jacobs Beauty is just one of the many beauty brands that continue to utilize brand ambassadors via social media. #castmemarc is the brand’s most recent social campaign, which allows fans to be in the running to become “the next Marc Jacobs Beauty social media sensation.”
How #castmemarc works
- People (18 and over) are encouraged to post a video of themselves to Instagram telling Marc what inspired them about beauty and fashion and why he should pick them to be a finalist
- Posts must include @marcbeauty and #castmemarc to be considered
The contest is currently running through December 16. 10 finalists will be flown to New York City where they will film a video that will be judged by a panel of judges, including Jacobs. Three finalists will be selected for the #beautymarc video series.
Winners will also receive a year’s supply of Marc Jacobs Beauty products, invites to the brand’s beauty influencer events throughout 2017 and an allowance for Marc Jacobs clothing and accessories.
