eSalon, an ecommerce-centric brand known for selling custom hair color, has expanded into care with its latest customizable product line comprising Shampoos, Conditioners, Leave-In Conditioner Sprays and Hair Masks for all hair types.
According to eSalon, the launch allows “consumers to achieve a truly custom hair care and color routine designed just for them.”

Consumers are invited to take advantage of the hair quiz on eSalon’s website to determine which products are best suited for their specific hair concerns and goals. They can choose up to three goals from 16 different formula options. Goals include:
- repair
- moisturize
- soften
- color protection
- smooth
- scalp care
- volumize
- enhance curls
All of the formulas utilize a combination of tri-bonding technology, L21 complex, and microbiome defense technology.
- The Tri-Bonding Technology reportedly aids in the formation of new bonds through the creation of a 3D network inside each strand, adding long lasting strength and improving overall hair health.
- L21 Complex is a conditioning agent that works to protect and seal the surface of the hair to restore all C-21 lipid chains in the cuticle.
- To help balance the microbiome of the scalp, Microbiome Defense reportedly offers a blend of unspecified natural ingredients that are said to further support hair health.
Additionally, all of the formulas for the brand's entire range of products are cruelty-free.

eSalon currently has the custom hair care set available from $28, with individual bottles starting at $21.
All of the packaging materials used by the brand are made with 100% post-consumer recycled materials. eSalon says it aims to minimize the use of single-use plastics with biodegradable packaging and tape.
