Look Good Feel Better is holding its annual BeautyCares DreamBall gala on September 23, 2021 to celebrate the beauty, personal care, retail and publishing industries, and support its mission of addressing the appearance concerns of cancer patients.

The free event, held virtually this year, is hosted by Nina West and features performances by James Monroe Iglehart. There will also be an online auction with exclusive items and experiences.

The inaugural Legacy Award is being presented to Leonard A. Lauder, chairman emeritus at The Estée Lauder Companies and honorary chair of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Esi Eggleston Bracey, COO and EVP, beauty and personal care at Unilever North America, is being presented with the Passionate Leader Award.

Bershan Shaw is being presented with the Survivor Advocate award. Shaw is a business coach, TV personality and breast cancer survivor.

Louanne Roark, executive director of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation, says, “If we’ve learned anything during the pandemic, it’s that people in cancer treatment need community, connection, and camaraderie now more than ever. We are grateful to deliver our program virtually, and with the support of our corporate partners, hospitals and volunteers, we’ve continued to expand our capabilities. The annual DreamBall Gala celebrates the industry that supports this important program and demonstrates to people enduring cancer treatment that we are here to serve and support them.”
