L'Oréal's U.S. division has acquired Columbia Beauty Supply in an effort to further itself in the professional hair care market.
Columbia Beauty Supply has annual sales of $60 million and an established distribution network covering four states in the Southeastern corner of the United States. The acquisition is said to complement L'Oréal's other professional hair care businesses. The latest acquisition deal will be managed by Beauty Alliance, which was bought by L'Oréal last April.
