Agnes Landau has been appointed CMO for all U.S. Shiseido brands, per a recent announcement. (Update, January 23, 2023): The company also announced Louanne McGrory as chief commercial officer, U.S., a new role for the company, while Antonio Andrade has been appointed president, Shiseido Canada and LATAM. Finally, Mary Gerzema has been appointed EVP, marketing intelligence and consumer engagement.
Landau previously held key roles at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., including senior vice president, strategic transformation, at MAC Cosmetics North America, as well as president and global general manager, Darphin. She also served as CMO at Clinique.
She will join the company’s executive leadership team and reports to Shiseido Americas CEO Ron Gee. Its portfolio brands include Drunk Elephant, Shiseido, Nars and Clé de Peau Beauté, and the Issey Miyake and Narciso Rodriguez fragrance brands.
McGrory formerly served as president, Shiseido Canada. She will oversee all U.S. retailer relationships.
Andrade was formerly SVP LATAM. In addition to his current responsibilities, he will oversee the Canada business, focusing on growth and commercialization.
Gerzema, formerly SVP of consumer insights and digital media, will oversee media and assume new responsibility for Shiseido Americas’ digital transformation function and a new Web3/metaverse group.
McGrory, Andrade and Gerzema continue to report to Gee.
