Kering has appointed Raffaella Cornaggia as CEO of Kering Beauté, charged with developing the beauty category for Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Pomellato and Qeelin.
Kering Beauté will build on the broader company's fashion and apparel activities. In November 2022, Kering was reported to be among the bidders for the Tom Ford brand, which ultimately went to The Estee Lauder Companies.
Cornaggia is based in Paris and reports to Jean-François Palus, group managing director of Kering; she will also be a member of the group’s executive committee.
“I am delighted to welcome Raffaella Cornaggia, who brings us considerable experience in a segment that we see as strategically important for our houses," said Palus. "We are building this new area of expertise within our group to ensure that our brands can fulfill their potential in this category.”
