Google Offering AR Beauty Tools on Mobile Browsers

In the past, consumers could only see what a foundation shade looks like on a set of models, but now they have the option to virtually try it on.

Google is now offering AR beauty features on mobile browsers, including new ways to try on hair color and foundation. Lip and eye makeup will be available in the near future.

Consumers can use the technology to see what different shades from the L’Oreal suite of brands might look like on them or a model.

Splat and Revlon will soon be available on the platform.

There are more than 50 beauty brands available using AR on Google, and in the last six months Covergirl, Dior Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Laura Mercier and Makeup by Mario have been added.
