Mary Kay Inc., has announced the appointments of Chaun Harper to the role of senior vice president, chief manufacturing officer and Lucy Gildea, Ph.D., to senior vice president, chief scientific officer.
In his new position, Harper will be responsible for global manufacturing operations, global inventory control, supply planning, transportation and global quality. He joined Mary Kay in 2014 as director of production operations; during his tenure, he increased production efficiency and implemented key development opportunities for employees. Prior to joining Mary Kay, he held several positions within operations and quality functions at L’Oréal.
Gildea, who joined the company in 2017, will continue to lead Mary Kay’s research and development operations in her new role. She previously spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble, working in health care, oral care, beauty technology and beauty/skin development.
