Knowlton Development Corporation (KDC/ONE) has announced its acquisition of Shanghai Paristy Daily Chemical Co., Ltd. (Paristy), a custom formulator and manufacturer of color cosmetic products, based in Shanghai, China.
Paristy specializes in powder, lip, face and liquid cosmetic products for both the prestige and mass market.
According to KDC/ONE, this is its first strategic acquisition in Asia. The deal will "underscore KDC/ONE’s commitment to providing vertically integrated custom formulation and innovative manufacturing and packaging solutions to its customers in Asia and brand partners around the world."
The terms of the deal, which is expected to close in Q1 2020, were not disclosed.
