
The 2025 CASCC Suppliers' Day will offer attendees a mixture of events for professionals to learn and network over the course of its pre-session event (October 28) and two-day show (October 29-30). The main stage show will feature programs on trends, color, regulatory issues and more.
A Future Chemist Workshop for students and early-career professionals will also be held. The workshop was created in partnership with Aaron Peterson (P2 Science), Paul Lussman (Obagi), Kerry Hanson, Ph.D., BS.C (UC Riverside) and Ryan Kudla, Ph.D. (Barnet Products).

Pre-Session Events
To kick off the exhibition on October 28, pre-day sessions will focus on makeup formulation and product development. This includes two pre-show CEP courses:
- Mastering Makeup Formulation Across Eyes, Lips and Face
This course examines the relationships between formulation, processing and packaging to optimize product performance and enhance the consumer experience. Participants will explore ingredient selection, texture optimization, stability testing and measurement science, including rheology and penetration testing.
- The Beauty Product Development Journey: Bridging Marketing and Technical Teams
This course highlights the goal of marketing product developers and their alignment of products with consumer satisfaction, while communicating their vision for creating products to cross-functional technical teams.
Day 1: Innovation Starts Here
9:00 a.m. Keynote Address
Suppliers’ Day begins with a keynote address from Michelle Wong, Ph.D., world-renowned Australian chemist, educator and creator of Lab Muffin Beauty Science.
10:00 a.m. Show Floor Opens
Throughout the day, speakers will provide insight into the latest trends and innovations, including exosomes, longevity science and sensitive skin formulations.
Day 2: Meet the Regulators
Hear from representatives of key regulatory agencies, including:
- CARB (California Air Resources Board)
- DTSC (Department of Toxic Substances Control)
- OEHHA (Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment)
- NAD (National Advertising Division)
