The ninth annual Free From Skincare Awards will open to submissions February 3 and close March 22, 2020. The shortlist will be revealed in May and the winners will be announced online in June 2020.

Brands sold and distributed in the United Kingdom, Ireland and mainland Europe are eligible to participate.
The awards, which run in conjunction with The Ultimate Natural Beauty Bible, celebrate the best cosmetic products that are “free from” some of the allergens and other ingredients many consumers wish to/need to avoid.
Additionally, the Free From Skincare Awards aims to be the most fair and rigorous of the cosmetic awards.
Now up to 15 categories, the 2020 Free From Skincare Awards feature the newly added category for body oils, incorporating moisturizing oils, massage oils and bath oils.

“There is no voting, which unfairly favours brands with large social media following and marketing budgets,” Alex Gazzola, awards administrator and co-director, said. “To decide the shortlist, all entries are first put through their paces by four testers for one month. Then, their feedback is combined with that of panels of independent expert judges, who sit for a week to debate and decide on final medallists and winners.”
