Luxe Pack Reaches Exhibitor Capacity

Luxe Pack New York announced that it reached capacity with exhibitors, and that all 2010 seminars (held May 19–20) have moved to the lower level of the Altman Building. The seminars are complementary with show admission.

In “What New in Sustainable Packaging from Exhibitors,” moderated by Jeff Falk, senior editor, GCI magazine; Koert Bruins, president, Iggesund Paperboard US; Sheherazade Chamlou, vice president sales and marketing, SGD North America; Geoff Verney, vice president of communications, Monadnock Paper Mills; Mark Ormiston, director of research and development, Anomatic Corporation; and Laura A. Rowell, director, sustainable packaging, MWV, will discuss their companies' sustainable efforts.

In addition to discussions on the tenets of environmental management system, the development of environmentally preferable products, a case study on the development of a new eco-elegant brand, and a 100% eco-designed product, the suppliers will highlight the impetus for initiatives, consumers’ impact on moving toward sustainability in product and process, the benefits for brand owners and the outcome for consumers.
