Gattefossé Asia Pacific has announced its achievement of ISO9001: 2015 certification, the international standard that sets quality management system requirements.
The certification will apply to the Singapore-based Gattefossé Asia Pacific’s marketing and selling of specialty ingredients and formulation solutions for health and beauty, as well as its managing operations with partners.
Issued last December by the SGS certification body, this version of the standard “reinforces the value of a company’s strategy in its approach to quality, integrating risk analyses for all processes, as well as analyzing opportunities, while taking the external environment into account.”

Gattefossé has implemented a quality management system at its French site in Saint-Prest “for many years”; this certification is the beginning of the company’s initiative to increase the scope of its quality management to encompass the entire group.
“This initiative demonstrates Gattefossé’s desire to have a truly international quality management policy and to ensure that all its customers’ needs are listened carefully and that operations are conducted to the highest standard,” says Jean-Pierre LaForet, group director of industrial operations at Gattefossé. “It’s also a sign of our on-going search for continuous improvement at the group level.”
