Dynatrol has released the Dynatrol G Series Level Switches, which are specifically designed for problem applications that involve extremely light or fluffy products, or for heavier bulk solids that tend to pack or bridge easily.

The Dynatrol Type GJ reportedly provides consistent results on applications of cosmetic powders, pigments, titanium dioxide, activated carbon, activated charcoal fillers and other ingredients that vary widely in bulk density or particles.
Dynatrol Type GS and Type GSS have been used on fine powder as well as beads as light as 1/2 # per cubic foot. Each of these level switches work on high, intermediate or low-point level detection.
They work by producing an output signal via an uncovered paddle that is free to vibrate. This signal operates a relay indicating the paddle is uncovered: a low level exists. When the paddle is covered, a dampening of the oscillations occurs and the relay indicates that a high level exists.
Dynatrol level detectors provide performance in dusty environments and specialized units can be used in temperatures exceeding 300°F. The Dynatrol G series has been approved for Class I, Group C and D; Class II, Groups E, F and G; and Class III services.
