Alicia and Myisha Scott, founders of Range Beauty, initially requested an investment of $150,000 in exchange for a 6% stake in their brand. Greiner and Grede countered with an offer of $150,000 for 20% stake, and after some back and forth negotiations, the brand founders offered the Shark’s initial offer.
Range Beauty is an inclusive and alternative makeup brand that focuses on melanin-rich and sensitive skin.
