The Nue Co. is moving into hair care with two products debuting at Sephora and the brand's own site.
The Supa Thick Scalp Serum is a topical scalp supplement that addresses hair shedding, supports hair growth and rebalances an oily, flaky-looking or dry scalp, per the brand. It qualifies for the retailer's Clean + Planet Positive label.
The vegan formulation features Givaudan Active Beauty's Redensyl follicle technology to stimulate growth and prevent the appearance of shedding. It also features an essential oil blend comprising rosemary, clary sage and peppermint, which stimulates circulation, refreshes and cleanses the scalp. It also includes a probiotic that reportedly reduces the appearance of a dry scalp and dandruff in as little as two weeks.

The Growth Phase Hair Supplement is designed to support hair growth and hair density in as little as 12 weeks, per the brand, and is appropriate for thinning, weak or slow-growing hair. The cruelty-free formulation is not vegan as it contains egg. However, the supplement does qualify for Sephora's Clean + Planet Positive label.
The formulation includes biotin, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, kelp-derived iodine, horsetail plant extract, reishi mushroom and eleuthero root extract.
