yuv Lab comprises a pay-as-you-dispense system featuring refillable aluminum metal cartridges, which are designed to replace single-use color tubes and, as a result, reduce waste. Per the company, salons and freelancers are only charged for what they use.

The system's ME-PPD (2-methoxymethyl-para-phenylenediamine) formulations serve as an alternative to PPD and PTD formulations, thereby reportedly addressing concerns over allergic reactions.
