According to a recent seekingalpha.com article, written by Clark Schultz, Unilever's board has received advice from the company's bankers to begin moving forward on an acquisition of Colgate-Palmolive.
While there has been no official announcement, it is reported that shares of Colgate-Palmolive had "a quick jolt, but they have settled back down."
