Clorox Reports Sales Growth in Q2 Fiscal 2015

The Clorox Company reported 3% sales growth from continuing operations for its second quarter, which ended Dec. 31, 2014. The company's lifestyle business unit, which includes its natural personal care division, posted 5% volume growth and 4% sales growth. Natural personal care, in fact, posted double-digit gains, largely due to innovation in Burt's Bees lip and face-care products, including continued growth in towelettes. Incremental demand-building programs, including the first-ever television campaign for the Burt's Bees brand, also contributed to the sales results.
