Kosé America, Inc. has announced the appointment of Sharon del Valle as the general manager, Kosé America, effective immediately. As general manager, she will oversee sales, operations, education, marketing and e-commerce at Decorté.

In her new role, del Valle will report to Osamu Naito, CEO KOSÉ America, Inc.

She joins Kosé from Revlon where she oversaw U.S. marketing for the Elizabeth Arden brand. With over 20 years of experience in luxury and consumer goods, del Valle has worked for companies that include The Estée Lauder Companies, Chanel and Naturopathica.

Her successes include repositioning Estée Lauder skin care brand and portfolio globally as well as creating and developing the award-winning Intuition brand to become a more than $200 million global business within two years of launch.

Additionally, she led U.S. Chanel Skin Care to unprecedented profitability and market performance through brand repositioning, portfolio and channel management strategies.

Having lived and traveled extensively abroad, del Valle offers a blend of strategic business management disciplines with global branding that is locally sensitive. Her expertise is in building brands that consistently grow profitably through a holistic approach from strategic vision to in-market execution.

A graduate of Georgetown University, del Valle holds an MBA.
