Polymer materials supplier PolyOne Corporation announced it has rebranded and relaunched its wear-resistant compounds, now available globally under the LubriOne brand.
LubriOne compounds combine the effects of internal lubricants with diverse reinforcements and base engineering resins. They can be used in health care, transportation, electrical or electronic industries. Applications range from fuel pumps and drug-metering pumps to automated teller machines, paper shredders and printer gears. The products are self-lubricating and offer higher wear resistance, low coefficient friction and reduced noise, power requirements, weight and cost when compared to machine compounds.
“This expanded offering under the LubriOne brand name strengthens PolyOne’s global footprint and reaffirms our commitment to specialization,” said Craig Nikrant, vice president and general manager of engineered materials, PolyOne. “We will continue to tailor our products and services to meet the unique needs of our growing global customer base.”
