Despite a potential trade battle between the U.S. and China on the horizon, several personal care companies, including Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever and Church & Dwight, are currently bidding for Weimeizi, a Chinese company specializing in high-end dental products under the Saky brand.
According to a recent South China Morning Post article, in 2015, Saky saw sales reach $3 billion. Weimeizi has reportedly hired Citigroup to sell the business for up to $1 billion.
