Beauty refrigerators have been one of the hottest trends of 2019, with the technology gaining mainstream notoriety. Now, LVMH, Sephora Europe and the Cosmetic Valley competitive cluster have collaborated to accelerate the launch of Beautigloo’s Refrigerated Beauty Box, which is now available in the United States, with pre-orders available online at an introductory price of $329. The product will not be shipped until March 2020.
Refrigerating cosmetics optimizes freshness and performance, while the ventilated cold-air system of the Refrigerated Beauty Box limits the presence of moisture. Products like creams, eye cares, masks, nail varnishes, perfumes and natural cosmetics benefit from being stored in the Refrigerated Beauty Box.
While some individuals store cosmetics in their refrigerators, despite being unhygienic and inconvenient, cosmetics and food should also be stored at different temperatures. Designed in France, the Refrigerated Beauty Box uses advanced technologies and a built in thermostat keeps the temperature at 10°C. This cosmetic refrigerator is also 100% silent and designed to last more than 20 years.
"In addition to its low-power consumption, the Refrigerated Beauty Box is 98% recyclable and contains absolutely no polluting refrigerant fluids," said Florian Ménard, co-founder and chief technical officer.
