Maesa has appointed Oshiya Savur as chief brand officer, following the appointments of Carlos Lagravere as COO and Sharon White as chief people officer, as well as the 2022 appointment of CEO Piyush Jain.

Savur previously held roles with Unilever, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden and, most recently, Charlotte Tilbury, North America, where she reportedly achieved top-ranking sales in prestige beauty and drove growth through strategic earned media and influencer marketing campaigns.

In her new role, Savur will oversee product development, creative, brand and trade marketing, communications, and social and influencer marketing.

“This is a very exciting time for Maesa as we continue to strengthen our leadership team to accelerate profitable growth for the company," said Jain. "Maesa is already one of the leading global beauty incubators and Oshiya’s arrival will further strengthen our position. I am looking forward to Oshiya building on the strong innovation and marketing fundamentals at Maesa and to continue expanding the Maesa magic and making Maesa the absolute best beauty innovator and marketer globally.”

“I have always thought of myself as an intrapreneur challenging the status quo while relentlessly pursuing product, media, and content innovation,” said Savur. “I rejoice in being first to market, trying things no one has done before, and creating my own strategic frameworks in how I view marketing. Working at Maesa is a dream come true! It will allow me to consistently disrupt personal care with exciting brand launches within an already strong portfolio, so the opportunities to succeed here are endless. At the same time, I am looking forward to applying the intellectual rigor that will help scale a sustainable incubator model for years to come.”
