Algenist's Genius Liquid Collagen (GLC) has listened to consumer feedback and added a new easy-to-use pump to its latest iteration, easing the evacuation of product.
Reviewing product reviews, conducting social listening, and monitoring customer service and in-store client feedback, Algenist determined that the GLC's original dropper wasn't providing the optimal consumer experience.
When the brand launched the product's loyalty size with a pump, the consumer feedback was markedly positive, leading to the latest packaging update rollout.
The formulation, which remains unchanged, is a vegan serum that combines plant-based Active Vegan Collagen, Alguronic Acid and Microalgae Oil to improve the appearance of skin firmness, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and smooth, hydrate restore bounce to the skin.
Vegan collagen binds together corn, soy and wheat protein fibers, resulting in vegan amino acids that structurally mimic and function similarly to animal-derived collagen used in cosmetic products.
Algenist’s patented Alguronic Acid is sustainably produced from algae and reportedly clinically proven to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as boost the benefits of the other active ingredients.
A 10-day clinical study conducted by the company found that Genius Liquid Collagen visibly plumped lines, creases and stubborn wrinkles, while increasing skin elasticity and firmness in the neck and cheeks.
The study specifically yielded the following results from the 85 women who participated in the research:
- 94% said it deeply replenished and helped condition their skin.
- 91% said it restored bounce, resilience and suppleness to their skin.
- 87% experienced exceptional softness, radiance and a youthful glow.
The updated Genius Liquid Collagen launched at Sephora on Aug. 16, 2022.
