Clear Start is launching its #GetRealWithClearStart campaign in conjunction with Acne Acceptance Month to normalize breakouts, promote skin acceptance and flood social media with images of real, unfiltered skin.

The initiatives for the #GetRealWithClearStart include a global virtual summit on June 10 featuring conversations around real skin including the negative impacts of social filters and photoshop (led by Tijion Esho); realistic acceptance conversations (featuring content creators Young Yah, Christina Yanello, Joshua Specks, and Jasmine Sullivan); and the importance of diversifying the skin care industry (led by dermatologist and podcaster Dustin Portela).

The campaign will also feature a pledge for social media users to sign to ditch photo-altering filters and retouching apps for the month of June.

As well, there will be a “Real skin, real stories” series featuring content creators in the skin care and beauty space.
