Giorgio Armani beauty has announced the launch of the Lip Freeze Collection, available in the Lip Maestro and Lip Magnet ranges.
According to the company, Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani International makeup artist, was inspired by "the icy, opaque pastels of the 60s." The new shades were created by using a "snowflake" base—intensifying the base with white pigment—combined with the bright pigments, meant to give hues a sorbet-colored effect on the lips.
The collection includes 12 pastel shades (pictured above) spanning "icy nudes, cool reds, polar orange and frosty pinks."
The collection's packaging features soft-touch packaging meant to reflect the products' frosted appeal. The Lip Maestro ranges utilizes an angled applicator that is shaped to contour the lips and create a defined lip in a single gesture. The Lip Magnet features a slender, caligraphic applicator, of which the flocked surface shapes the lip with matte color.
