Otium Capital has invested 6 million euros into French beauty retailer Oh My Cream. Notably, Otium's portfolio also includes Octoly, which generates social influencer marketing for beauty brands.
Founded in 2012, this is Oh My Cream's second round of financing and will help support its expansion of physical stores from five to 20.
The retailer's point of difference is its well-curated product mix, including small niche brands, a strategy similar to that of players such as Violet Grey.
By providing service and advice, Oh My Cream hopes to match the growth cycle typified by innovators like Bluemercury.
