DMI, an FDA-registered, global contract manufacturer, filler and packager of cosmetics, personal care products, health and beauty aids, nutritional products and OTC pharmaceuticals, appointed Alan Verduin as director of operations and Larry Stanchina as director of quality assurance.
Verduin will be responsible for all manufacturing and production activities, as well as all warehousing logistics and inventory management. Prior to joining DMI, Verduin held a variety of positions with Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, including director of operations and plant manager. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
As the new director of quality assurance, Stanchina will be responsible for the approval and acceptance of all incoming components and assurance that finished goods are up to DMI’s standards of quality and exacting specifications. Stanchina will also be responsible for compliance to all regulatory standards and will act as the lead representative for all customer and regulatory inspections and audits. Before joining DMI, Stanchina served as director of quality assurance with Water-Jel Technologies and as divisional director of quality assurance and compliance for Caraustar, Inc. Stanchina also attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology, receiving a bachelor of science degree in engineering technology.
