Los Angeles-based Highlight Cosmetics has introduced 10 shades of non-transferable, water-resistant Long-wearing Matte Liquid Lipstick comprising a range of naturals and a functional peptide that purportedly leave the lips feeling soft, moist and smooth. The formulations are in line with the growing trend toward added-value beauty and contain:
- Turmeric to offer antibacterial properties and prevent chapping
- Green tea to reduce the appearance of lip inflammation
- White tea extract to even skin tone and diminish the look of dry skin
- Kelp extract to moisturize the skin, reduce inflammation and reduce the appearance off sun damage
- Palmitoyl tetrapeptide to reduce the appearance of lip wrinkle depth and volume
The shades, which include five metallics, include:
