Clariant signed an agreement to acquire 17% share in South Korean company BioSpectrum, Inc. BioSpectrum will remain independently managed, with Clariant leveraging its global sales and innovation network to market BioSpectrum's product portfolio of active ingredients worldwide.
This transaction will allow Clariant to expand in growing global markets for personal care applications, with further access to innovative active ingredients based on renewable raw materials.
