Arbonne International, LLC announced the appointment of Heather Chastain as its new senior vice president and chief sales officer. Beginning Sept. 4, 2012, Chastain, a recognized direct sales industry executive, assumed the role of overseeing Arbonne’s sales organization.
“I am delighted that Heather is joining Arbonne’s executive team,” said Kay Napier, Arbonne CEO. “She has more than 16 years of industry expertise, ranging from president of Celebrating Home, to sales, marketing and operational experience at BeautiControl.
“Heather brings both operational excellence and strong sales force experience to Arbonne,” explained Napier. “She was a major contributor to significant growth across all of her previous roles and I feel very fortunate to have her lead our sales efforts.”
In her new role, Chastain will guide key areas of the business related to Arbonne’s independent consultant sales force ? field development and sales—including expanding and supporting the multicultural markets, public relations, sales force events and online marketing.
Chastain is excited about the prospect of growing—and reinforcing—the company’s sales force. “This is such an amazing opportunity,” said Chastain, “because Arbonne’s management team understands the importance of putting their independent consultants first. In the direct-selling industry, the sales force drives both sales and sponsoring, so it is vital to give them what they need to be successful. I have a passion for doing exactly that, making this a beautiful new partnership.”
A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in business administration, Chastain has more than 16 years of direct-selling industry experience in a wide array of direct sales business operations. She was most recently president of Celebrating Home and successfully executed several vice president roles at BeautiControl. Chastain also currently sits on the board of the Direct Selling Association.
