K-beauty is impacting the global beauty business, but its Korean originators continue to see gains.
Overseas sales pushed AmorePacific's second quarter net profits to 246.7 billion won/$220.1 billion, according to a report from Yonhap News Agency.
This represents a significant leap from the same period last year, which totaled 185.4 billion won.
China remains AmorePacific's largest export market, while domestic sales grew nearly 46%. Overall sales in Asia grew about 50% for the period, while North American sales grew 26%.
