Paul Mitchell has announced The Hair AI, a device that scans customer's hair to recommend a personalized product routine.

The device clips over the user's iPhone camera and measures different attributes of the client's hair and scalp to make recommendations for professional services and products.
The scanner is paired to an app which allows for tracking of guests' results each time its used.
Hair AI will be available in limited release to select Paul Mitchell salons and then available widely beginning January 2021.
