Shiseido Announces Animal Crossing Movie Collaboration

Shiseido, has released its movie, Camelia, set in the world of Nintendo's Animal Crossing video game. Click here to watch a preview.

Previously: Shiseido Launching Animal Crossing Movie Project

The movie is based on Shiseido's campaign of "With One Another. Without Limits. Our Future Is Beautiful." The original song “Camellia” accompanies the movie and features lyrics about celebrating one’s own beauty without boundaries.

The movie features user participants, with almost 700 posts submitted for the movie. Scenes of people meeting up in the same place, something that would be difficult to do in person currently, as well as people of all genders, ages and nationalities enjoying their own kind of beauty. 

Kozue Akimoto, the ambassador for Ultimune, a Shiseido serum also participated in the filming in Animal Crossing and actually appeared in the movie.
