Brooklyn + Bailey McKnight Launch Skin Care Brand itk at Walmart

YouTubers Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight have launched itk (which is an abbreviation of “in the know"), a line of dermatologist-tested skin care essentials co-developed by Maesa, exclusively at Walmart.

The cruelty-free skin care line, inclusive of 15 SKUs for a wide range of skin types and needs, is available in 3,800 Walmart stores nationwide and online on walmart.com.

The line offers a range of solutions for all skin needs, from a Clay Color-changing Mask and Nightly Clarifying Serum to a Milk-to-Foam Cleanser and Prebiotic Gel Moisturizer.

All products are vegan, dermatologist tested, and free from artificial fragrances, sulfates and parabens.   

Cleansers

• The Milk-to-Foam Gentle Cleanser is a face wash and makeup remover infused with pineapple enzyme, coconut enzymes and pro-vitamin B5 that exfoliates and cleanses the skin while leaving it feeling nourished.
• The Exfoliating Gel Cleanser uses a blend of AHAs to gently refine skin and help reveal brighter, smoother and more even toned skin. It also includes spirulina extract, which is rich in vitamins and amino acids that help balance the skin.

Moisturizers

• The Deep Moisture Rich Cream is packed with hyaluronic acid to pull moisture in and ceramides to replenish and reinforce the skin barrier. Shea butter helps even out the skin tone for a smoother and more hydrated look.
• The Prebiotic Gel Moisturizer is formulated with niacinamide, squalene and prebiotics to feed the skin’s microbiome and keep it balanced and looking healthy.
• The Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen Serum is a lightweight serum and moisturizer that contains zinc oxide and antioxidants to protect the skin against UVA and UVB rays, blue light and environmental aggressors like air pollution.

Eye Cream

• The Day + Night Cream Duo features morning and evening eye moisturizers housed in a convenient split container. The morning moisturizer contains caffeine to help boost tired eyes and vitamin C to brighten and illuminate the eye area. The evening cream incorporates ceramides and ginger root extract to even skin tone and protect the skin’s outer layer.

Toner and Serums

• The Tri-Acid Toner is formulated with niacinamide and gentle levels of AHAs, BHAs and PHAs to exfoliate, minimize the appearance of pores and brighten dark spots.
• The Brightening Vitamin Serum is filled with vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides, and omegas 3, 6 and 9. The serum is designed to brighten and even skin tone, help improve skin elasticity and protect the skin from free-radical damage.
• The Nightly Clarifying Serum reduces dullness and redness while preventing the signs of aging. Designed for people with sensitive skin, the serum blends bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol alternative; azelaic acid; and peptides.

Treatments

• The Microneedle Blemish Patches deliver oil-cleaning salicylic acid to reduce the appearance of blemishes, while aloe vera calms the skin. The patches are also infused with hydrocolloid to target bacteria and niacinamide to help brighten dark spots.
• The Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Setting Mist contains carnosine to help protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays and blue light. Vitamin E helps retain the skin’s moisture, while bisabolol soothes the skin.
• The Blemish Treatment Mist treats acne on the back, legs and chest. The formulation features a potent blend of exfoliating acids to balance the skin and licorice extract to soothe and brighten the skin.
• The Clay Color Changing Mask tightens pores and removes buildup with kaolin clay, jojoba seed oil and glycerin. It starts out as a gel so the user can easily spread it over the skin with no mess. Within minutes, it transforms into a decongesting clay mask.

Supplements

• The Daily Hair + Skin + Nails are gummy supplements that feature vitamins C, E and D to promote healthy and protected skin, while biotin and folic acid strengthens hair and promotes hair and nail growth.

Best known for their popular vlogs that have garnered more than 1.5 billion views on YouTube, the McKnights asked their followers about what they look for in skin care products as the twins conceptualized and formulated the products. They received nearly 1 million responses.
