
Shiseido's luxury skin care and makeup brand Clé de Peau Beauté has named Nicole Kidman as its new global brand ambassador.
Beyond her achievements in film, she serves as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for women's empowerment and education, aligning with Clé de Peau Beauté’s mission to inspire confidence and foster positive change.

Shiseido Faces Challenges with 9% Sales Decline in First Half of Fiscal 2025
The move comes amid a time of challenge for parent company Shiseido. The beauty giant reported first half fiscal 2025 net sales of ¥228.2 billion, a drop of 9% year-over-year.
Top challenges included a sales decline in Japan, ongoing weakness in travel retail and China, a "sharp decline" in the Americas amid a significantly diminished environment for Drunk Elephant, and a fragrance sales decline.
