A Wall Street Journal report notes that L'Oreal has no planned layoffs in France amid challenges related to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The company added, "it won't use short-time working in the country until the end of June despite the halting, partial or total, of several activities," the story explained.

Salaries will also be honored in the country, which comprises 3,000 of 13,400 employees.

Its facilities in France and China will continue to help manufacture masks and respirators.
