ModiFace has launched its ModiFace Mirror, which uses 3D technology to simulate makeup effects in a live video feed via iOS or in-store kiosks.
The "technology instantly scans a user's face, recommends personalized looks, and previews the look on the user's live video," according to the company. A shade-matching system can help users match foundation shades or match blush or lipstick colors.
Consumers can see the effects of about 2,000 products via this system. A retail version of the tech is available.
