 Update:

Beyoncé, who was given complete control over the September 2018 issue of Vogue, was featured on the cover of the issue sporting what makeup artist Sir John called a "no-makeup" makeup look.

He was quoted saying, "She’s all about being confident in your skin and owning your natural element. This look was all about redefining glamorous as a state of mind. We focused on enhancing her natural brows, skin and structure—and bringing out that inner glow. It’s a #boybeat."

To achieve the "inner glow" Sir John prepped Bey's skin with Marc Jacobs Beauty's Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer, followed by Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter in Fantasy and finished the look with Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder.
