As detailed by The Guardian, Avon is preparing itself for an omnichannel future that includes livestreaming, social media order collection and other tools of the e-commerce age. In its latest financial reporting period, Avon reported net revenue growth of 33.6% in BRL.  

Avon is also able to deliver products directly, reducing the burden on sales teams and embracing the realities of the pandemic era

The personal touch of representatives will remain central to the experience, however, providing personalized service.

Live demonstrations will allow reps to sell to shoppers who can merely click their screens to purchase products being demonstrated.

Avon is seeking greater relevance, per the report, for instance by adopting vegan and sustainable credentials, which matter to younger shoppers.

Per the story, Avon currently runs 21 boutiques run by representatives, including sites in Malaysia and Shanghai.
