Jaclyn Hill has announced that she is closing her brands Koze and Jaclyn Roxanne in a recent YouTube video, but the future of her cosmetics line remains unknown.

The Youtuber turned business owner shared with her viewers that she opened Koze and Jaclyn Roxanne after being accused in 2019 of selling unsanitary and expired lipsticks for her Jaclyn Cosmetics So Rich lipstick range.

"I love [Koze and Jaclyn Roxanne], I'm proud of it but I'm not excited about it," she said in the video. "I get excited over cosmetics, I'm not excited over these things."

Hill said she started Koze and Jaclyn Roxanne because she felt the need to prove herself to her followers after the lipstick incident, as well as pressure after seeing others in the industry start different brands.

"My legacy was supposed to be cosmetics.," Hill said in the video. "That's what I've loved since I was a kid. That was my original dream was something in the makeup creative space and at this time of my life I just want to get back to that. That's just what I desire."

Hill told her viewers that her cosmetics brand will launch a new product in August 2023.

"We do have one last launch in our pipeline that's actually coming out this month and it's the most innovative product I've ever created. You will see that I really put time and effort into this product with my team. There's nothing like this, there's no formula that I have ever seen on the market like this. It's so beautiful and so unique and I'm so excited for it to launch. I just want to be able to give my brand the love that it deserves, even if it ends shutting down too."

While there's one more product to be launched, Hill said she still doesn't know the future of Jaclyn Cosmetics.

"As for Jaclyn Cosmetics goes, honestly you guys I don't know the future of my brand, I really don't because of everything that I've said to you this entire video, I really don't know. I really stepped away and I really just did the bare minimum. I was given such an incredible opportunity to be in Ulta stores and I've done the bare minimum supporting my brand in Ulta, which is crazy because that's literally my dream."
