Concurrently, Amorepacific has named Robin Na, the former head of North America, to lead the business in Japan.
Valentini will oversee "the group's strategic vision, including strengthening the region's organizational structure, optimizing operations, and championing the business objectives of Laneige, Innisfree, and Sulwhasoo, as well as new-to-market brands," per the company.
He will also serve as global brand holder responsibility for U.S.-based Tata Harper Skincare.
The key will be to grow the customer base for these core brands, "while continuing to diversify brand offerings in the U.S. and Canada," per Amorepacific.
Valentini previously served as general manager of Lancôme USA Armani Beauty and had held roles at Kiehl's, and Unilever brands.
