What's the secret to glowing skin, in addition to using your products and equipment, that you can offer your customers or clients at no cost to anyone?

“Meditation, meditation, meditation, because it's stress-relieving and calming, it is regenerative and anti-aging," says Sister Jenna, doctor of meditation, director of the Washington D.C. Meditation Museum and host of America Meditates podcast.

Sister Jenna is a prime example of someone who lives and breathes spiritual and emotional wellness through meditation. You can visibly see her glow and she believes anyone can generate their own, too, at any age.

Sister Jenna has shared her tips to go along with your daily practice, as well as insights that can enhance your consumers’ self-care rituals.

1. Practice Soul Consciousness

Sister Jenna [SJ]: When you look at yourself in the mirror, imagine that you really are a soul behind your eyes. The more you practice tapping into all the original qualities of your personality, you will bring brightness, lightness and fragrance to your inner being, which cannot be hidden on your skin or even in your eyes. Your fragrance is rooted in your purity. That part of you where your innocence shines incessantly.

2. Send Good Wishes to All

[SJ]: Consider sending your good wishes and pure feelings to every person that you meet; it's very simple. By just having that simple practice every single day, it will create so much enthusiasm and so much joy in your being; you start to feel good. When you feel good, you automatically will begin to look good.

3. Drink A Lot of Water

[SJ]: One of the things that I do with my water is that I add a little bit of grapefruit extract in my water and drink that throughout the day. I find it to be a cleanser and it also helps with the body. It helps to build immunity and is a great weight loss.

4. Eat well and Eat on Time

[SJ]: I am a very, very proud vegetarian and I wasn't always that way. I am half-Jamaican, half-Indian and most of my diet when I was younger was always with meat. But for the past 30 years, I have been meatless, and I have not missed it one bit. If you eat fresh foods, lots of fruits, lots of vegetables and grains, you will just feel like your body is naturally getting the strength that it needs from nature.

5. Self-love

[SJ]: A lot of people don't believe this, but if you really want your beauty to increase and for it to be maintained, write love letters to yourself. You want to be reinforced and you want to keep hearing reinforcements from you. The whole world can love you, the whole world can praise you but if you can't praise yourself, how are you supposed to feel good?

Customizing For Your Brand

Beauty brands can customize these tips and offer them to retailers or consumers. They do not minimize the benefits from what you are offering, they enhance it. Everyone will get better results from whatever they are doing if they add one or more of these practices.
